For the production of objects in cold casting: Cold casting is a simple process for producing objects that are similar in appearance and feel to objects cast from metal, without the use of complex 'hot' processes such as bronze casting. For cold casting, metal powder is bound with casting resins (mixing ratio e.g. 1:2). Silicone moulds, for example, can be used as casting moulds; use a release agent if necessary. The finished objects can be patinated.

The different metal powders can be mixed to achieve certain colour effects.
