Oxidising agent for creating authentic surface effects such as rust, patina, verdigris on metal surfaces and object surfaces coated with metal primer or iron primer.
The CREARTEC ARTIDEE oxidation system can be used to give sculptures, sculptures, objects and items of all kinds and made from a wide variety of materials a new, authentic surface appearance: By applying a metal dispersion, which is then treated with an oxidizing medium, rust, patina and verdigris surfaces can be created in a wide variety of colours.
Different colour effects are created depending on the substrate and oxidising agent selected. On an iron primer, a rust structure can be created with colour tones ranging from ochre to reddish brown and almost black. Patina-like effects ranging from ochre brown to different shades of green and blue (verdigris) can be created on metal primers. The CREARTEC ARTIDEE oxidising medium can be used to oxidise not only surfaces pre-treated with metal primer or iron primer, but also metal surfaces of all kinds as well as objects coated with impact metal or gold leaf foils.

APPLICATION:
Carefully apply the oxidising medium to the object with a brush after the iron or metal primer has completely dried. Allow the oxidising medium to take effect.
Oxidation begins immediately after application and develops over the following hours as the oxidising medium dries. The oxidising media can also be layered after drying so that very special surface structures and shades can be created.
Unlike in industry, chemical oxidising agents are used for oxidation in the artistic field and are classified as low hazard. Please observe the safety instructions.
