MORE INFO
For polishing marble, hard limestone & serpentine. For light-coloured and coloured stone. For a lasting shine. Contains aluminium oxide.
KAPRA polishing powder M can be used for polishing by hand and for polishing with a machine, e.g. with a felt disc. Can be combined with oxalic acid to harden the surface when polishing white marble.
APPLICATION
We recommend the following procedure for polishing with polishing powder by hand:
1. Pour the polishing powder onto a deep plate.
2. Lightly (!) moisten a jute cloth and dab it into the polishing powder.
3. Spread the polishing powder onto the stone using a dabbing motion.
4. Allow the applied polishing powder to react briefly so that the chemical can react with the stone.
5. Rub the polishing powder vigorously (!) into the stone using the jute cloth. This can and should result in squeaking noises!
6. Dab the jute cloth into the polishing powder again and again and continue rubbing.
7. Finally, wash the polished stone thoroughly (!) so that the chemical cannot react any further.
To polish with the machine, first slurry the polishing powder with a little water to form a paste.
Wear nitrile gloves when polishing!
