Glycerine soap as release agent & filling agent. Non-toxic. Soluble in water.
For separating objects made of wood as well as granite, basalt, pumice, poroton, plaster, expanded concrete, cement, concrete etc. when moulding with silicone or latex. For filling unevenness, depressions and cracks before moulding. For the pre-treatment of old and fragile wooden parts, e.g. bog oak reliefs. By filling (or grouting) cracks in wood, a smooth surface is created that shows all wood structures and can be easily moulded. Not suitable as a release agent or filling agent for direct moulding with synthetic resins or for casting with aqueous casting compounds.
After moulding, the release soap can be washed off with hot water. If the surfaces of master models or objects to be moulded are sensitive to water, consider impregnating the object, e.g. with water-based varnish, before applying the release soap.
APPLICATION:
Heat the release soap in a container in a hot water bath until it can be spread evenly as a creamy emulsion on the object to be moulded using a wide brush or directly with your hands. Please ensure that small details are not covered.
